OAFish pre-RASC Dinners

Many OAFs are members of the Ottawa Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.

Many of us like to gather for a social dinner on the evening of the regular monthly RASC meeting (always the first Friday of the month).

We use the polling feature on the OAFs Yahoo Mailing List, combined with email lobbying, threats, and pleading, to pick a location near the RASC meeting (at the Canada Science & Technology Museum). We gather at the chosen spot at about 5:45 PM, finish by 7:30 PM, and then head to the museum for the RASC meeting.

To join us for dinner: join OAFs Yahoo Mailing List and watch for a posting that starts the poll during the early part of the first week of each month. Follow the link to the polling page and vote your choice of restaurant. Friday Noon, we'll post the winning restaurant and make reservations for the number of people who voted.
